How to reset a Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler

How To Reset Your Worcester Bosch Greenstar Boiler

Follow This Guide to Reset Your Worcester Bosch Greenstar Boiler

If your Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler has suddenly stopped working or is showing a flashing blue light, a simple reset might be all it needs to get back up and running. This guide will take you through the reset process step-by-step, helping you restore heat and hot water quickly and safely.

Common Reasons Your Worcester Bosch Greenstar Boiler May Need a Reset

Understanding why your boiler requires resetting can help you prevent recurring problems. Common causes include:

  • Low water pressure
  • Frozen condensate pipes during cold weather
  • Blocked air vents
  • Thermostat issues
  • Power cuts or interrupted gas supply
  • While a straightforward reset often solves the problem, persistent errors may point to more serious issues such as a faulty sensor, diverter valve, or heat exchanger. Always check the display panel for warning codes or flashing lights as these provide clues about the fault. If your boiler regularly needs resetting, it’s time to call in a professional.

Regular servicing and preventative maintenance can catch small faults before they turn into expensive repairs. Don’t ignore repeated faults—contact a qualified engineer to keep your heating system running safely and efficiently.
